Preferences - Inventory

Description

The following are advanced preferences and can control the Inventory processes and workflows of ICXE. It's Suggested to consult a Datapel Systems Representative prior to making any changes after the initial installation date.

It's important to note that you need to login as a Superuser in order to make Inventory Preference Changes.

Detail Steps

Default Pick Method	Dropdown Box; *Select Method FIFO LIFO MIN MAX FEXFO LEXFO	Default Pick Method for when allocating stock to pick forms.
Reference # as:	Dropdown Box; COUNT UNIQUEx8	Allow ICXE to allocate a reference no. based on the selected method.
Auto# Batch-Serials:	Dropdown Box; COUNT UNIQUEx8 DATETIME	Allow ICXE to allocate a batch-serial no. based on the selected method.
Format:	Dropdown Box; #000 #0000 #00000 #000000	Select the serial/batch number format.
Next #:	Enter Number	The Next Serial/Batch number to increment from.
Use Auto# Prefix:	On or Off and Enter Details	On will default Stock Legend filters to *Show All
All Transfers between Locations must be Received.	On or Off	On will upon creating a despatched transfer orders create an open receive order within the receiving register of the distinated transfer location.
Track split Batches using LOTS.	On or Off	On will default system to use the Lot number field when spliting batches.
Use Default Putaway Bin for Receiving or Transfers.	On or Off	On will destinate the default Putaway Bins for Receive and Transfer goods.
Use Batch Serial Number Tracking for all new items.	On or Off	On will turn on Batch-Serial tracking for all newly created items.
Allow Fractional Quantity for Non-Inv.	On or Off	OOn will allow fractional quantity vales for tracking stock of non-inventoried items.
Warn on creating Duplicate Batch Serial numbers.	On or Off	On will turn on warning alert when there are dupicate Batch-Serial numbers being created/received.
Custom Field #1:	Enter Details	Header Given to Custom Field #1.
Custom Field #2:	Enter Details	Header Given to Custom Field #2.
Custom Field #3:	Enter Details	Header Given to Custom Field #3.
Custom List #1:	Enter Details	Header Given to Custom List #1.
Custom List #2:	Enter Details	Header Given to Custom List #2.
Custom List #3:	Enter Details	Header Given to Custom List #3.
On Transfer Record:	Dropdown Box; Set RTP Order Status Always Pick Order Auto Pick-Pack Order Auto Close Order	Sets the Despatch Registry with selected status on saving a new Transfer Record.
On Check Outs:	Dropdown Box; RTP/NSA PICKED PACKED SHIPPED CLOSED	Sets the Despatch Registry with selected status on saving a new Check Out Record.
Show Non-Inventory Items.	On or Off	On will display non-inventoried items within the Item Register.
Show Inactive Items.	On or Off	On will display inactive items within the Item Register.
